What can FEW do for YOU?
FEW is your organization – founded in 1968 and still going strong with over 100 chapters nationwide.
FEW is your information connection: FEW keeps members informed through chapter meetings and the national News and Views newsletter.
FEW is your training connection: FEW provides an excellent source of training through local chapter programs, Regional Training Programs, and free webinars. The most recent webinar was on 30 January 2014; it dealt with “sex discrimination in the federal workplace” and was conducted by Tully Rinckey, PLLC (the law firm that provides FEW members with limited legal counsel on matters of discrimination).
FEW is your legislative connection: FEW has joined with other Federal agencies to protect your benefits and is the only national organization whose sole focus is representation on issues important to female federal employees. FEW provides a strong voice on Capitol Hill for members and submits an agenda annually to Congress via our “Eye on Washington”.
FEW is your networking connection: FEW has joined forces with other organizations such as Blacks in Government, IMAGE (Hispanic federal employees), the National Women’s Party, the Public Employee Roundtable and the Women’s Legal Defense Fund that share a common interest in legislative issues affecting federal employees.
