New Mexico Museum of Space History
Alamogordo, NM – At the New Mexico Museum of Space History, one little exhibit on floor 4B probably gets more interest, and more snickers, than almost any other exhibit. It’s a mockup of a Skylab Toilet and everybody wants to know how they do “that” in space. The Launch Pad Lecture on Friday, March 4, Input/Output: What Goes In Must Come Out by Museum Executive Director Chris Orwoll, gives the inside scoop on eating and eliminating in space.
The Launch Pad Lecture is free to the public and is held at 9:00 am on the Museum’s first floor. Coffee and donuts are compliments of the International Space Hall of Fame. The next Launch Pad Lecture will be on April 1. The topic will be April Fools: Kidding Around in the Cosmos with museum Education Specialist Michael Shinabery.
The New Mexico Museum of Space History, a Smithsonian Affiliate, is a division of the NM Department of Cultural Affairs. For more information, call 575-437-2840 or toll free 1-877-333-6589 or visit the website at www.nmspacemuseum.org. Like us at: www.facebook.com/NMSpaceMuseum/.
